What happens to the data you send us, and what runs on this site from third parties.

Last updated at launch.

Who the controller is

The controller is Magic Happens s. r. o. The registered office and company details (company number, VAT) will be added before launch.

For anything to do with your data, write to info@magichappens.sk.

What we collect

Through the contact form we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), the subject of your enquiry and your message.

The site collects no other personal data automatically. We do not profile and we do not make automated decisions.

What we use it for

Only to answer your enquiry and to agree on any work that follows.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to you, or steps before entering a contract that you asked for yourself.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that did not lead to work are deleted at the latest two years after the last message.

Where work leads to a contract or an invoice, we keep the records for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Who else sees it

Our hosting and email providers, who process it only on our behalf.

We do not sell form data, we do not pass it to third parties for marketing and we do not send it outside the European Economic Area.

Third party services on this site

YouTube. Videos load only after you click them. Until then you see a static thumbnail and your only contact with YouTube servers is downloading that image. Once playback starts, Google terms apply.

Fonts. The typeface is served from our own server, not from Google Fonts, so no data is passed to a third party for it.

Background music. It plays only if you switch it on. Your choice is stored in the browser for the length of your visit and disappears when you close the tab.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and the right to object.

Use the email above to exercise them. If you believe we are handling your data wrongly, you may complain to the Slovak data protection authority.

Note for the client: before launch, name the hosting and email providers and confirm the retention periods. If Google Analytics or any other measurement is added, this text must be extended and the site needs a cookie consent bar.
